Skin Rejuvination

Micro-Needling is a revolutionary way to stimulate normal collagen production for smoothing and tightening skin, treating fine wrinkles, acne and surgical scars, cellulite and stretch marks. A major advantage of Micro-needling is that it can be done for lax skin or wrinkles of the face, upper lip lines, neck, décolleté, arms, abdomen, buttocks and legs.

A common factor in the development of scars, wrinkles, stretch marks and uneven skin is a lack of collagen. Micro-needling encourages collagen production in the skin, which minimizes and even removes their appearance.

Micro-needling is a procedure carried out using a skin roller that is covered with numerous tiny needles. These needles penetrate the outside layer of the skin and carefully part the pores of the skin. Micro-needling uses needles that only penetrate 0.5-2mm, and this causes virtually no bruising and minimal swelling.

The microscopic punctures (which are often just the opening of the pores of your skin) caused by the skin needling or micro-needling, stimulate collagen production in the second layer of the skin (the dermis) and it creates an appropriate environment for collagen and elastin formation. These key factors help the skin to cosmetically renew. With micro-needling you can return to work the day after the treatment without any signs except some pink skin as though you have been exposed to the sun.

A series of six to ten Micro-needling sessions should be done at intervals ranging from once a week to once a month- depending on the degree of improvement that is required. This method has two great benefits; it competently stimulates collagen creation at the same time as allowing creams, lotions, and serums to be absorbed more easily through the uppermost layer (epidermis) of skin. Skin needling creates a very small trauma which lasts for about one hour and does not result in bruising, swelling, or bleeding in the treated area in the way that laser therapy or microdermabrasion do.

Pharmaceutical Dermaheal Vital Creams, multivitamins, and minerals are used after micro-needling sessions to promote rapid healing. Your skin will easily absorb these nutrients after treatment, leaving your skin rejuvenated and radiant.
